Robert Megel bei 3daysofdesign in Kopenhagen

The 2025 international design festival 3daysofdesign in Copenhagen was held under the motto "Keep It Real." Instead of spectacular productions, the event emphasized the personal encounter with design. Brands, studios, and galleries throughout the city opened their spaces, inviting visitors to explore. 3daysofdesign transformed the Danish capital into an open showcase of contemporary design.

The Persona exhibition, curated by Chase Jensen and Martin Clausens for ADORNO.design, translated human character traits into three walk-in spaces— The Perfectionist, The Eccentric , and The Romantic . Each space created a distinct atmosphere in which design became an emotional experience.

Dresden-based designer Robert Megel was represented here with his stool CX-CH-01 , presented in The Perfectionist room. With its precise geometry, clean lines, and balanced proportions, the piece embodied the values of this space: accuracy, order, and balance. Megel's contribution fit seamlessly into the curated narrative and demonstrated how furniture can express attitudes beyond its function.

Persona brought together nearly 80 designers from 28 countries and demonstrated that contemporary design is meant to be experienced, not just seen. Within this framework, Robert Megel positioned CX-CH-01 as part of an international discussion about authenticity, material awareness, and the emotional power of furniture design.

Special thanks go to the curators Chase Drake Jensen and Martin Clausen for the exceptional curation of the rooms The Eccentric, The Romantic and The Perfectionist, as well as to ADORNO.design and Kacper Banasiak for the excellent photography.
